One Stop Shop
There is no single figure. A One Stop Shop bundles the grants for all the upgrades your home needs (heat pump, insulation, windows and more) and takes them off your bill upfront, so a full upgrade can be worth tens of thousands in grant support.
What it is
Managed deep retrofit up to a BER B2, one contractor handles it all. A whole-home upgrade can include new windows and doors as part of the works.
Who can get it
- You want a complete home upgrade managed for you, rather than doing measures one at a time
- The upgrade brings your home to at least a B2 energy rating, usually through several measures together
- It suits any home type, from apartments to detached houses, including heritage and traditional homes built before 1940
- An SEAI registered One Stop Shop handles the lot: the home assessment, the grant application, the contractors, the follow-up BER, and finance support if you need it.
- The grants are taken off the cost upfront, so you pay the balance rather than the full price.
- The average result is a jump from a D2 rating to an A2.
- If a full upgrade is too much at once, you can do the individual grants step by step instead.
