What it is
If you are homeless or at risk of homelessness right now, your local authority can assess your needs and, where possible, provide emergency accommodation, including family hubs for families with children. Contact your local authority's housing or homeless section directly.
- In the Dublin region, the Central Placement Service can be reached on freephone 1800 707 707, every day from 10am to 10pm, run by the Dublin Region Homeless Executive.
- Threshold gives free, confidential advice anywhere in Ireland if you are at risk of losing your home, or already have, on freephone 1800 454 454.
